The premise:
World famous opera tenor Tito Morelli is coming to the Cleveland Opera House! Or is he? When the singer seemingly becomes incapacitated, it’s up to the company manager’s assistant, wannabe performer Max, to impersonate Morelli so that the show can go on. When Tito regains his senses, unbeknownst to everyone, and re-enters the scene---a farce erupts! Mistaken identity, near-miss discovery, and strange bedfellows become the comic romp by Ken Ludwig, considered to be the premiere writer of comedy alive today.
