Patrick Spradlin

Patrick Spradlin was the theatre instructor at Central Lakes College for 31 years prior to his retirement in May of 2022. During that time he directed for Brainerd Community Theatre and was the executive director of the Cultural Arts Series, bringing visiting guest artists to the Brainerd area.

He has well over 200 directing and acting credits, and counts among his favorite productions as a director SpamalotYoung Frankenstein, The Elephant Man, The Who’s Tommy, Lost in Yonkers, Love Letters, Other People’s Money, and A Few Good Men.

Patrick has acted on stage and in front of the camera in Chicago and other parts of Illinois, Iowa and in this surrounding area.

His most notable roles include George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Charles in Blithe Spirit, Willie in The Sunshine Boys, Bob in Bill W. and Dr. Bob, Kipps in The Woman in Black and the title role in the one-man show Clarence Darrow.

Patrick has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of talented individuals during his tenure at CLC. He now relishes working with this group of gifted artists in ART.
